TOWN & ECONOMY

Jobs System and Earnings Guide

Java Edition 23.2+

Economy and jobs

Turn crafting, exploration, combat, and gathering into money and experience through the 12 Jobs on Sunshine Survival. Choose up to two active professions.

On this page
Starter advice: pick Miner if you break a lot of ore, Builder if you put up structures, Hunter if you chase combat and bosses. Fill your second slot based on what you actually do in game; chasing only the single highest payout may not be efficient.

Jobs rules

2 active jobs

The live general settings show max-jobs: 2. You can use two jobs at the same time.

Level 200

Each of the 12 jobs is set to a maximum level of 200 in the config.

Income + XP

Actions pay money and Jobs experience separately. Not every block or item is worth the same.

Job shop

The Jobs shop is enabled in the live settings. Check the menu and current prices in game.

Daily quests

Every job has a Jobs quest menu; open the job screen regularly for bonus objectives.

Spawner note

The payment behavior near spawners is also enabled in the server settings.

The 12 jobs and their main actions

The example payout is a single high sample from the live YAML values; actual income depends on the actions you take and level multipliers.

How to choose a job

  1. Pick your gameplay loop

Think about what you do every day: mining, farming, combat, building, fishing or enchanting. Most Jobs income comes from the actions you repeat.

  2. Pair up two jobs

It makes sense to pair one main income job with a support job that uses the materials you produce. For example Miner + Weaponsmith or Farmer + Brewer.

  3. Check payouts in game

Your Jobs level, bonuses, the item type and the payment settings change what you actually earn. Before selling your target material, compare it with the selling options on the Economy page.

First menus to check

Use the /jobs menu to check your active jobs, level, stats and quests. Use the job selection, info and quest tabs in the interface; if the server version or the plugin translation changes, the in-game help text takes priority.

The numbers here are examples from the Jobs public config; they are not market prices. Do not mix up Jobs income with selling on the Market / Exchange / Auction House.
